Fried Eggplant with Cashews

In China, one culinary secret is popular, thanks to which fried meat or vegetables get a crispy crust. It’s starch!

Preparation: Cut the eggplant into a medium cube, roll in starch and fry in portions over high heat. Grind garlic and chili, add soy sauce and 120 ml of water, mix and pour over eggplant. Add cashews there and fry everything until the sauce has almost evaporated. Sprinkle the finished dish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.

Chicken in sweet and sour sauce

Everyone’s favorite classic Chinese recipe is irresistible.

starch, 3 tbsp. vegetable oil, 1 tbsp. sesame, 4 tbsp. sugar, 3 tbsp. apple cider vinegar, 3 tbsp. ketchup, 2 tbsp. soy sauce, 1 tbsp. sesame oil, 3 garlic cloves, 3 tbsp. water, chili flakes and spices.

Preparation: Cut the chicken into pieces, mix with starch and fry until tender in vegetable oil. In a dry frying pan, send all the remaining ingredients and another spoonful of starch. Bring everything to a boil, put the chicken in the sauce and fry for another 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Peking Duck

This is a rather complicated dish, but we have found the easiest recipe for you.

You will need: 1 duck, 2 tbsp. rice wine, 2 tbsp. salt, 1 tbsp. sesame oil, 5 tbsp. soy sauce, 2 tsp grated ginger, 2 tsp ground mixture of peppers, 4 tbsp. thick invert syrup.

Preparation: Pour boiling water into the gutted duck, close the hole and dip it into boiling water for half a minute. Let the duck dry and rub it with invert syrup with all the spices and other ingredients. Send the duck to the oven just like that, filled with water. And cook for about 40 minutes at 270 degrees.

Stir-fried Chinese noodles

We advise you to choose wide egg or wheat noodles.

You will need: 300 g of noodles, 100 g of Chinese cabbage, 300 g of chicken fillet, 1 carrot, 1 clove of garlic, 1 bunch of green onions, 100 ml of teriyaki sauce.

Preparation: Boil the noodles until tender, chop the garlic and green onions, chop the Beijing cabbage with carrots and cut the chicken into pieces. Saute chicken until done with garlic. Add vegetables and stir. After a minute, add the noodles and teriyaki, cook for another 3 minutes and sprinkle the noodles with chopped green onions.

Rice cakes with pork

And if you can get canned bamboo, then replace them with green beans.

You will need: 1 pack of rice cakes, 1 tsp. rice wine, 3 tbsp. soy sauce, 8 shiitake mushrooms, 250 g pork, 5 tbsp. Cut the pork into strips, marinate in soy sauce, spices and wine for an hour, and fry over high heat. Add chopped shiitake and green beans, pour in the broth and simmer until tender. Put the filling on the cakes.

Gongbao Chicken with Peanuts

This is the best recipe for chicken thighs. Serve them with rice.

You will need: 750 g chicken thighs, 2 tbsp. soy sauce and rice vinegar, 2 bell peppers, 1 chili pepper, 2 cm of ginger, 100 ml of broth, 2 handfuls of roasted peanuts, 1 tbsp. sesame oil, 2 tbsp. olive oil.

Preparation: Cut the chicken into pieces and marinate for an hour in soy sauce with vinegar. Cut the sweet pepper into strips, ginger into sticks, and chili into rings. Send everything to the pan, fry for a couple of minutes over high heat and set aside.

Chinese Chicken Wings

A quick and easy way to deliciously fry chicken wings.

You will need: 8 chicken wings, 4 tbsp. starch, 0.5 tsp each paprika, ground black pepper and dried ginger, salt.

Preparation: Mix the starch with all the spices and roll the wings in it well.

Pineapple and Bell Pepper Chicken

There are many variations of sweet and sour dishes in Chinese cuisine, and they are all very good!

You will need: 500 g of chicken fillet, 150 g of canned pineapple, 2 bell peppers, 0.5 cans of chopped tomatoes in their own juice, 2 tbsp. sugar, soy sauce and apple cider vinegar, spices.

Preparation: Cut the chicken into pieces and mix with the yolk, wine and soy sauce. Leave for 20 minutes, mix it with half the starch and fry over high heat until cooked.

Add chopped peppers and pineapple and simmer for a couple of minutes. Add a little more water and the remaining starch, boil until thickened, put chicken in the sauce, season and remove from heat after another 1-2 minutes.

Char siu honey pork

Such pork can be served even without additional sauce – it is already juicy.

You will need: 700 g pork, 100 ml soy sauce, 1 tbsp. sugar, 2 tbsp. honey, 20 ml rice wine, 2 tbsp. miso paste, 1/2 chili pepper, 2 garlic cloves.

Cut the pork into slices and marinate in this for 12-24 hours in the refrigerator.  Put a container of water in there. Cook pork at 200 degrees for 10 minutes on one side and 15 minutes on the other side.
