| LAYERED GALETTE WITH THREE CHEESE, SPINACH, POTATO + YORKSHIRE WENSLEYDALE CRUMBLE:
I made this super easy savoury galette last weekend for a family picnic up on Dartmoor! A CREAMY filling of spinach and ricotta was layered with SWEET caramelised onions, SALTY new potatoes, a grating of parmesan and a good CRUMBLING of creamy, handcrafted Yorkshire Wensleydale (thanks wensleydale_creamery!). I loved the simple, sweet and savoury flavours in this; the crisp BUTTERY pastry, the creamy, savoury filling and the crumbly texture from the Yorkshire Wensleydale… Delicious hot or cold this one was a firm family favourite ?
