It’s Pie Week 2021! ?
| to celebrate, I’ve collaborated with higgidy to try a selection of their brand new sharing sized pies available sainsburys! Over on stories you can catch me making my very own creamy Chicken & Ham Hock Pie and on my plate I’ve got this deliciously rich Steak & Sussex Ale Pie – SWIPE to see more of this generously sized sharing pie! It’s made with traditional pale ale, tender slow-cooked British beef and lots of onions & carrots. I’m also a sucker for some good pastry and Higgidy never disappoints; this had a lovely shortcrust pastry case that’s topped with all-butter puff pastry (and some of their signature sprinkles)!
These are Higgidy’s first ever sharing pies, created to be an ideal speedy solution for midweek family meals, or an indulgent date night dinner. They’re ready-to-bake and packed full of wholesome and delicious ingredients; I’m also looking forward to trying the Chilli-Roasted Sweet Potato and Feta Pie later this (swipe to the last pic to see that one!) – as you can see, loads for both meat lovers and veggies.
