HOMEMADE HALLOUMI STYLE CHEESE:
So fresh and so *squeaky* clean! …I’ve been wanting to make cheese for a while, so when my mum showed me how she’s been making homemade halloumi style cheese and fresh pitta bread, I just had to give them a go. Both are so easy (check back later for the pittas!) and honestly so satisfying to make; I’m not sure I’ll ever bother with the shop bought variety ever again! OK, so I’m not claiming this to be traditional by any means, I think there are laws around that, but as far as home cooking goes this is a totally accessible way to get your halloumi cheese fix. This is my first time making cheese and I am so pleased with the results; how-to and recipe notes going in stories/highlights now ?
