FRENCH ONION SOUP WITH COMTÉ CROUTONS:
Seriously this soup is the best. It’s even better when someone makes it for you! Tonight’s French onion soup was made by my partner, Matt and it is divine! Layers of deep and delicious flavour, thanks to slow-cooked onions and a little garlic, fragrant sauvignon blanc, rich beef stock and fresh thyme. Everything is topped with gooey comté croûtons and a big pinch of freshly cracked black pepper…I just love breaking through that cheesy topping. So satisfying. Happy start to the weekend foodies! ?
