Build your own bruschetta ??‍♀️

I feel I’m yet to perfect my platter board styling, but this was too good not to share. You may of guessed from my stories that I love picky foods, or ‘help yourself’ style dining with friends and family – it just feels nicer to me. Plus there is less waste, as you only take what you actually want to eat.

This particular platter consisted of a ciabatta, oven baked then toasted and rubbed with garlic and olive oil, and served with yummy toppings; a chopped cherry tomato (some home-grown!) and shallot mix (with olive oil, garlic infused sea salt, black pepper, dried oregano), a fresh watercress salad, slices of creamy mozzarella (with black pepper and olive oil), oven baked za’atar fries (because I love them) and a couple of fat and juicy rump steaks, served super blushing and sliced thin. On the side was a little balsamic vinegar, olive oil and more garlic sea salt to dress.

We popped this on the coffee table alongside a couple of side plates and plonked down on the sofa for a lazy-help-yourself-kinda-night ?
