Ad / this week I had the pleasure of trying some goodies from therealyorkshirepuddingco – born and raised in Yorkshire, these guys are totally batty about batter!

Here I’ve cooked up the Cumberland Style Gluten Free Toad in the Hole and served it with some Savoy cabbage mixed with fresh apple and fennel seed, buttery hasselback potatoes and lots of gravy. We’ve had a rather busy week, so this was a minimum effort meal that tasted great; the batter was huge and perfectly encased the herby sausages.

I also tried the Giant Pud with Hearty Roast Veg and Lentil Stew for one of my work from home lunches – because Yorkshire puds are This filled pud will be coming into retailers next year, so make sure to TheRealYorkshirePuddingCo to be the first to know when they’re available! ? This one was packed full of veggies and lentils and it honestly tasted delicious. It initially looked quite heavy but actually it was surprisingly light, which meant I didn’t feel too sluggish when I got back to work – I just added some kale and wholegrain mustard on the side for extra freshness.

Whilst I could make my own batter-based creations, admittedly sometimes it’s quite nice to have someone else do all the hard work for you; I’ve actually got some of their gluten free Yorkshires stashed away in my freezer, which I’m thinking about stuffing with some cauliflower cheese sometime soon! ? Go take a look at my stories to see the therealyorkshirepuddingco range!
