Instagram’s Favourite Breakfast: Avocado Sourdough Toasts ?
Kickstarting the weekend with this delicious brunch; crisp sourdough toasts topped with smashed avocado, thick and flavourful bacon medallions (previously gifted via thejollyhog) and my favourite 6 minute jammy boiled egg. I sprinkled over a lovely mix of sea salt with cracked black peppercorns, red pepper, green peppercorns and pimento, plus a little cress for freshness. We’re tackling some more decorating today so this should fuel me through the first wave; Matt’s already made some pizza dough so we’ve got an easy meal for later when the house is a tip ?

I’ve always had trouble with true “boiled eggs”. I’ve only ever been able to steam them for that consistency.
